40 Days and 40 Nights
A Journey with Christ through Art
The 200-meter mural was inspired by the solemn Catholic Christian observance called Lent, which commemorates the 40 days preceding Easter. Lent is a period of preparation to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our whole life on earth is a period of preparation for the greater glory to come and can be likened to the 40 days and 40 nights.
